5 - Warranty
STOTT PILATES warrants that all new Reformer products are free of manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials, subject to the terms below. Parts repaired or replaced under the terms of this warranty will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period. This warranty becomes effective at the invoice date of the original purchase.
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
STOTT PILATES will, at its option, repair or replace any of the parts listed below, provided that these part(s) fail due to a defect in workmanship or materials.
• aluminum rails
• components of the frame and related welding
• footbar mechanism
TWO (2) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
STOTT PILATES will, at its option, repair or replace any part that fails for any reason, provided such failure is reported to STOTT PILATES within a period of two years from the invoice date of the original purchase.
This warranty applies to STOTT PILATES Reformers only:
• While it remains in the possession of the original purchaser and proof of purchase is demonstrated.
• If it has not been subjected to accident, misuse, abuse, improper service, or non-STOTT PILATES modification.
• If claims are made within the warranty period.
• If upgrades are made as required by STOTT PILATES.
This warranty does not cover damage to the finish of the Reformer, or shipping charges, customs clearance fees (if applicable) or any costs incurred in installing repaired or replacement parts shipped under the provisions of this warranty.
90-DAY FABRIC WARRANTY
The upholstery fabric on your STOTT PILATES equipment will be replaced if it fails to give normal wear for 90 days after delivery. Proof of damage may be required. This warranty does not cover cuts, burns, stains, soiling, pet damage, or damages caused by other unreasonable use. Claims will not be honored when cushion covers have been removed for cleaning. This warranty does not apply to fabrics treated with non-flourocarbon finishes. If the identical fabric is not available, STOTT PILATES will provide an equivalent fabric.
